Day 1: Dipping our tires into the Pacific Ocean. We got about a million of these pictures...
Rest Stop: The gang taking a quick break before finishing up the big hill. Stretching, hydrating, and just plain relaxing.
Washington Pass: Us atop the BIGGEST climb in the whole world, or at least that what it seemed like. What a day... 5,477 ft. of a true uphill battle.

Awesome. Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteHello all SPS Cyclists!! Danielle and PJ are checking up on you to make sure all is well. Some bruised knees and other body parts and maybe a few egos but it sounds like you made it up and over OK. We feare you would get caught in some rain showers and we thought about you lots hoping you were able to stay somewhat dry. Sounds like you really had a test of strength and determination climbing Washington Pass, I warned you, but hopefully the beauty of it all made the climb well worth it! We were thinking of sending in the first wreck we saw at Padilla Bay while we were listening to our song to Americas funniest home Video. It was pretty well on que to the music!HAHA
ReplyDeleteTake care and we will keep tabs on you through out the week. God Bless you and keep you safe. ROCK ON!!! PJ - Holiday Inn
